If not, just select the default download option, and there’s a good chance it will be a magnet link. If it is a magnet link you’re downloading, you’ll get a message offering to open the magnet link with your Bittorrent platform of choice. In our case this is Vuze.
Jan 25, 2008 · Magnet link not working. Question. Okay, so before this post is being removed, let me tell you I have done some research, but haven't found my answer so far. I have been torrenting for years but just recently switched to Vuze from uTorrent because of it's SOCKS5 Proxy support, but for some reason I can't get magnet links to work no matter what I do. Torrents that are already loaded from .torrents work just fine, and the SOCKS connection seems to be working (When I test in options: Testing SOCKS 1. The little routing icon at the bottom of the Vuze client should now show green to let you know everything is working correctly. 2. If you disconnect from the VPN server, all torrent downloads will come to a stop as you can see below. The Routing icon goes to RED. Vuze is the ultimate client for BitTorrent. Basically, a Network Address Translation problem is caused by a router not being able to do what it's supposed to; it is not correctly re-directing data it has received from the outside world to a computer that is connected to it (the one running Vuze in this case). Works on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. There is a Vuze and Vuze Remote app for Android. Pricing. Vuze has a free and a paid versions. First one contains ads when the paid one doesn’t and costs $29.90. There is also a lightweight free version of Vuze - Leap. It has simplified interface, fewer features, but doesn’t have any ads.
