However, when I click on the connect button in the bottom, this message pops up "Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. I was able to connect my desktop (Windows XP) to the router via ethernet. The WLAN light glows on it showing that it is ON. And on turning ON my laptop's wiFi, it gets connected to it too. But, it shows "No internet Access" with an exclamation sign it the network area of the notification bar in my laptop (Windows 7). Provided you haven't made any configuration changes to your wireless network, go look at the sticker on the bottom of the router and get the SSID and network key off of it (for better security, you really should change these and use a different security method, but it will get you up and running and you can work on the rest later). May 19, 2009 · I upgraded my laptop to windows 7 RC 1 (build #7100) and everything I go on the PSP on my own access point (Netgear DG934v5) I can't access the internet on my laptop, I can access it fine on PS3 but as soon as I disconnect the PSP, Internet is fine on the laptop. I'm not sure what the problem is, I tried changing the channels on the router but no luck. So, I tried to reset the laptop on Advanced options > Troubleshoot > Reset this PC > Keep my files. I confirmed on 'Reset' and the laptop started to reset, but when it was about to 50% concluded, unexpectedly my
Dec 29, 2005 · Same situation can access my desktop pc from my laptop and see both computers in view workgroups. Cannot I repeat cannot access my laptop from my desktop. Firewall etc is correct.
